The Certified AI Skills Educator program gives you those skills in a structured, practical way, and a portfolio-based credential from an established Canadian college to show for it.

• Explain responsible AI use to students, colleagues and school leaders, and work within your institution’s AI policy
• Complete a practical teaching portfolio, not just a set of quizzes

• 60 hours across 9 modules, fully online and self-paced
• Applied practicum: build a complete unit for your own class, reviewed by Global TESOL College with written feedback

Do I need any technical or coding experience?
No. Everything is taught step by step using free or widely available AI tools.

What is prompt engineering, and why does it matter for teachers?
Prompt engineering is the skill of giving AI clear, structured instructions so it produces useful, classroom-ready results. Modules 2 and 7 teach you to write, refine and chain prompts and build a reusable prompt library for your own classes.

Which AI tools does the course cover?
Step-by-step walkthroughs of ChatGPT and Claude, AI image tools, quiz and worksheet generators, and custom assistants such as GPTs and Gemini Gems, plus how to choose between free and paid options. The skills transfer to new tools as they appear.

Will this help me protect student privacy?
Yes. Module 6 covers student data privacy, academic integrity, bias, accessibility and what you should never hand over to AI.

Can I see the course before I enrol?
