Hello, I am a newly certified ESL teacher and I have been applying to schools in South America for two weeks now with little in the way of results. I am really hoping to leave sometime this fall but as of yet cannot find anyone.
My first choices are Venezuela, Brazil and Peru, and I have applied to some major schools such as CEVAZ, CVA, Berlitz and Inlingua. A teacher at one school in Brazil told me that this is a bad time of the year to apply, is that true?
Is it possible to find a job in South America at this of year (particularly in Venezuela)? I would GREATLY appreciate any advice,
thank you.
New teacher looking for work in South America
