We are in the process of making all course exams available online. Currently most of the exams are available in the Exam Center with the others soon to follow. Below is some detailed information concerning the online exams:

The assignments for all courses, including the Foundation Course, do not need to be submitted. They are to be used for personal development and as preparation for the online exam. To complete this course and receive a certificate, you only need to complete the online exam with a score of 50% or greater.

When you are ready to take the online exam for any specialization course:

1. Go to www.globaltesol.com

2. Click on ‘My Account’ and sign in with your password

3. If you do not know your password, send an email request to info@globaltesol.com with the subject line ‘Need Password’.

4. Again, click on ‘My Account’ and choose ‘My Page’. You will see ‘Exam Center’ on the right side of the screen. Click on the exam you are ready for to begin. If you do not see your exam, send an email to info@globaltesol.com with the subject line ‘No Exam Access’.

5. The exam consists of 72 questions and is out of 110 points.

6. There are 3 sections to the exam which cover various formats including multiple choice, true or false, fill in the blanks and matching.

7. There is a time limit for completing each section of the exam online. Each section is timed individually so all sections of the exam do not need to be completed during a single sitting.

8. If you experience a service disruption (e.g. power outage) you need to apply for a one-time only re-take session. This must be arranged by contacting Global TESOL College at academic@globaltesol.com

9. The passing mark is 50% and is calculated from the combined marks of all six sections. If a mark of 50% overall is not achieved, a re-take session ($30.00 CAD) can be arranged by contacting academic@globaltesol.com.
